Member (FAQF Level 1)

An individual who is a general member of the FIT Africa organisation.

 

Creative Professional Trainee (FAQF Level 2)

A role of a traineee creative professional trainee is an artist that uses their talents to express themselves creatively and develop an original product or service. Working in the creative industry mean you have to entertain an audience, inspire others and share new ideas with people. A creative professional trainee may have creative pursuits or talents in music, comedy, writing, visual or theatrical arts. They will be able to prove they are a student in a registered training school.
 

Creative Professional Bronze (FAQF Level 3)

A role of a creative professional bronze is an artist that uses their talents to express themselves creatively and develop an original product or service. Working in the creative industry mean you have to entertain an audience, inspire others and share new ideas with people. A creative trainee professional may have creative pursuits or talents in music, comedy, writing, visual or theatrical arts. They will be able to prove they are working in the industry and have a certificate from a registered training school.
 

Creative Professional Silver  (FAQF Level 4)

A role of a silver creative professional silver is an artist that uses their talents to express themselves creatively and develop an original product or service. Working in the creative industry mean you have to entertain an audience, inspire others and share new ideas with people. A creative trainee professional may have creative pursuits or talents in music, comedy, writing, visual or theatrical arts. They will be able to prove they are working in the industry and have a silver level certificate from a registered training school, or the work experience to silver level.

Creative Professional Gold (FAQF Level 5)

A role of a creative professional gold is an artist that uses their talents to express themselves creatively and develop an original product or service. Working in the creative industry mean you have to entertain an audience, inspire others and share new ideas with people. A creative professional may have creative pursuits or talents in music, comedy, writing, visual or theatrical arts. They will be able to prove they are working in the industry and have a gold level certificate from a registered training school, or the work experience to gold level.

Creative Professional Platinum (FAQF Level 6)

A role of a creative professional platinum is an artist that uses their talents to express themselves creatively and develop an original product or service. Working in the creative industry mean you have to entertain an audience, inspire others and share new ideas with people. A creative professional may have creative pursuits or talents in music, comedy, writing, visual or theatrical arts. They will be able to prove they are working in the industry and have a platinum level certificate from a registered training school, or the work experience to platinum level.

Creative Professional Elite (FAQF Level 7)

A role of a creative professional elite is an artist that uses their talents to express themselves creatively and develop an original product or service. Working in the creative industry mean you have to entertain an audience, inspire others and share new ideas with people. A creative professional may have creative pursuits or talents in music, comedy, writing, visual or theatrical arts. They will be able to prove they are working in the industry and have a elite level certificate from a registered training school, or proof of work experience to elite level.

 

Fitness Instructor Trainee (FAQF Level 2)

The role of a fitness instructor trainee is to promote health, fitness, wellness or sports for clients. A fitness instructor will be able to prove that they are currently actively working in the fitness, health, wellness or sports industry. It is compulsory for a fitness instructor to have CPR / first aid qualifications. They will be able to show basic documents like one day workshops and online workshops and that they are students at a registered training school.
 
Fitness Instructor Bronze (FAQF Level 3)
The role of a certified instructor bronze is to promote health, fitness and wellness for clients. A fitness instructor bronze will be able to prove that they are currently actively working in the fitness, health, welllness or sports industry. They will be able to produce basic documents like first aid, cpr as well as certification documents from a registered training school. Sometimes they operate under a Licenced Brand.
 
Fitness Instructor Silver (FAQF Level 4)
The role of a fitness instructor silver is to build fitness participation for clients through experiences that meet their needs. A fitness instructor will usually work in a gym setting or group class setting. They will have provided proof of certification as a fitness instructor from an accredited training academy. They will have learnt additional skills at an introduction or basic level like first aid, nutrution or working with older adults. They must show certification documents from a FIT Africa accredited training school to qualify for silver level. 
 

Fitness Instructor Gold (FAQF Level 5)

The role of a fitness instructor gold is to build fitness participation for clients through experiences that meet their needs. A fitness instructor will usually work in a gym setting or group class setting sometimes on a one to one basis. They will have provided proof of certification as a certified fitness instructor from an accredited training school that shows they have learnt additional skills like nutrition, pre & post natal coaching, exercise to music or working with older adults (chair based or standing bodyweight) to qualify for gold level 

Fitness Instructor Platinum (FAQF Level 6)
The role of a fitness instructor platinum is to build fitness participation for clients through experiences that meet their needs. A fitness instructor will usually work in a gym setting or group class setting sometimes on a one to one basis. They will have provided proof of certification as a certified fitness instructor platinum from an accredited training school and they are educated to undergraduate level.

Fitness Instructor Elite (FAQF Level 7)

The role of a fitness instructor elite is to build fitness participation for clients through experiences that meet their needs. A fitness instructor will usually work in a gym setting or group class setting sometimes on a one to one basis. They will have provided proof of certification as a certified instructor elite from an accredited training school and they have vocational training to post graduate level

Personal Trainer Silver (FAQF Level 4)

The role of a personal trainer silver includes designing and implementing phyical activity programs for a range of individual clients, whilst ensuring the effectiveness of the personal exercise program. They can work in any number of Industry including but not limited to fitness, health, wellness or sports. They will have provided proof of certification as a personal trainer silver from an accredited training school to silver level.

Personal Trainer Gold (FAQF Level 5)

The role of a personal trainer gold includes the ability to work with special groups like children and seniors. They will have provided proof of certification as a personal trainer gold from an accredited training school to gold level.

Personal Trainer Platinum (FAQF Level 6)

The role of a personal trainer platinum includes the ability to work with clients with special medical issues, for example clients with diabetes or rehabilation issues. They will have provided proof of certification as a personal trainer platinum from an accredited training school to undergraduate level.
 

Personal Trainer Elite (FAQF Level 7)

The role of a personal trainer elite includes the ability to work as an assistant to a master trainer. They can also train others on behalf of an accredited training academy. They will have provided proof of of certification from a registered training school to postgraduate level.
 

Sports Player (FAQF Level 2)

The role of a sports player is to maintains a high degree of expertise in a particular sport. They will play sports at amateur or semi professional level in their particular field of sports. They will attend regular practice sessions and must undertake private training to maintain the required standard of fitness. They will decide on strategies in consultation with their coaches. Finally they will compete against other members at sports venues. Examples are football players, basketball players, rugby players, cricket players and althetics track & field.

The role of a sports coach trainee is to promote sports to the general public. A sports coach will be able to prove that they are currently actively working in the sports industry, and they are students at a registered training school.

Sports Coach Bronze (FAQF Level 3)

The role of a sports coach bronze is to promote sports to the general public. A sports coach will be able to prove they are currently actively working in the sports industry. They will have provided proof as a certified sport coach from a training school to bronze level.

Sports Coach Silver (FAQF Level 4)

The role of a sports coach silver is to promote sports to the general public. A sports coach will be able to prove that they are currently actively working in the fitness, health, wellness or sports industry. They will have provided documented proof as a certified sport coach from an accredited training school to silver level.

Sports Coach Gold (FAQF Level 5)

The role of a sports coach gold is to help athletes and sports players of all ages and abilities to reach their sporting potential. They would be working with a local or children team on a voluntary or full time basis. They will have provided proof of certification as a certified sports coach from an registered training school to gold level

Sports Coach Platinum (FAQF Level 6)

The role of a sports coach platinum is the ability to work with a professional team. They will have provided proof of certification as a certified sports coach from a regsitered training school to platinum level.

Sports Coach Elite (FAQF Level 7) 

The role of a coach elite as well as working with a professional team is the show proof of major impact in the sports industry 

Sports Referee (FAQF Level 7)

The role of a referee is the ability to be a referee or umpire in the sports industry. They will have provided proof of certification as a referee from a regsitered training school

 

Management Trainee (FAQF Level 2)

 A trainee management will be able to prove they are a student at a registered training school.
 

Management Bronze (FAQF Level 3) 

 A Management professional bronze will be able to prove they are working in adminstration.
 

Management Silver (FAQF Level 4)

The role of an management silver is to be responsible for some aspects of the management of the company they work at in the fitness, health, wellness or sports Industry. They may report to a middle level manager who then reports to senior management. Sometimes if the company is small they may report directly to the senior management or the owner of the Business. Some owners might decide to take a silver management level course to understand how to manage their own business themselves. They will have provided proof of study at introduction or basic level from an accredited training academy.
 

Management Gold (FAQF Level 5)

The role of a management gold is to be responsible for every aspect of the day to day management of the company they work at in the fitness, health, wellness or sports Industry. They will report direcly to the owner of the business, sometimes they may be the owner of the business themselves.
 
Management Platinum (FAQF Level 6)

The role of a managerment platinum is in addition to be able to manage a business they will be able to provide proof of a relevant undergraduate level degree like a Bsc in Business Admin or Management.

Management Elite (FAQF Level 7)

The role of an management elite is the ability to run large multi-national organisations. This may involve dealing with many stakeholders on national and international levels. It may involve dealing with board of directors and governmental agencies. They will be able to provide a relevant post graduate level degree like an MBA, Msc in Marketing.
 

Health Trainee (FAQF Level 2)

The role of health worker is to monitor patients and perform basic health checks. A registered health worker will make sure to make patients feel comfortable. washing and dressing patients. serving meals and helping to feed patients or children. Examples are carers and health workers, nannies, childcare workers.
 

Health Bronze (FAQF Level 3)

The role of health bronze is to assist in improving the health and wellbeing of patients and clients. Examples are dental assistants, medical secretary and medical personal assistants, beauty therapist, makeup artists.
 

Health Silver (FAQF Level 4)

The role of health silver is to assist in improving the health and wellbeing of patients. The will have provided certication from an accredited training organisation to silver level. Examples are life coaches, medical secretaries and medical personal assistants.
 

Health Gold (FAQF Level 5)

The role of health gold is to focus on identifying and maximising ways to improve the health and wellbeing of patients. The role is vital in treating a variety of conditions. Examples are massage therapists, spa therapists
 

Health Platinum (FAQF Level 6)

The role of health platinum is to focus on identifying and maximising ways to improve the health and wellbeing of patients. The role is vital in treating a variety of conditions. Examples are physiotherapists, occupational therapists, chiropractors, speech therapists, mental health therapists, dieticans, nutrionists & nurses. A undergraduate degree in a subject like exercise physiology or medical physiology will grant you this level 
 
Health Elite (FAQF Level 7)
The role of health worker elite are clinical scientists that apply the principles and procedures of medicine to prevent, diagnose, care for and treat patients with illness, disease and injury and to maintain physical and mental health. The will primarly practice preventive medecine in our organisation. Examples are Clinical Social Workers, Matron Nurses, Nursery Practitioneers, Residential Care Home Managers, Substance Missue Nurse. A masters degree in a subject like exercise physiology or medical physiology will grant you this level.
 

Health Master (FAQF Level 8)

The role of health master are specialist health improvement profesionals. They will work in a lead role for a particular area of health improvement for example, specific services targeted at men, women or young people, or a particular condition such as diabetes or dementia. Examples are General Practioneers (GP), consultants or senior physicans. They will be trained to postgraduate doctor level and above.
 

Master Trainer Silver (FAQF Level 7)

The role of a master trainer silver is to train and educate fitness instructors. A master trainer can apply to open an accrediated training academy.
 

Master Trainer Gold (FAQF Level 8)

The role of a master trainer gold is in addition to having an accredited training academy to also be recognised for their leadership in building the health, fitness, wellness & sports industry in Africa and the diaspora.
 

Master Trainer Platinum (FAQF Level 9)

The role of a master trainer platinum is in addition to having an accredited training academy is the ability to train other master trainers. This role is usually known as train the trainer.
 

Master Trainer Elite (FAQF Level 10)

The role of a master trainer elite is to be recognised as the highest possible status in the health, fitness, wellness & sports industry in Africa. The status is reserved for very few individuals who have contributed to the global industry and are recognised as the best in class anywhere in the world. They will have made a major impact as ambasadors in Africa and the diaspora.
